Nicolas set up his own negociant business after the death of his father in 1996. He is a new breed of negociant working very closely with growers. His approach is biodynamic, respecting the vine and soil`s natural rhythms, whilst favouring old vines whenever possible. In 2009 parted company with the business, who remained the owners of his name. The wine we have is from the time Potel was still with his eponymous operation and we are delighted to have some allocations.
