Pimm`s
Pimm`s
This quintessential English summer drink, served in ice-loaded pitchers topped with lemonade and fruit conjures up many happy memories for us Brits. And so it should, as the Fruit Cup first started in 1823 by Kent-born oyster bar owner James Pimm continues to find new fans as each year`s warmer months roll around. Pimm`s No.1 Cup is a gin based beverage, with a reddish-tint and some subtle spice and citrus flavours. For something different try Pimm`s No.3 Winter Cup or the vodka based Pimm`s No.6 Cup. Sadly Cups No. 2,4 and 5 have long been discontinued.
