Pio Cesare

Founded in 1881, Pio Cesare is one of the leading estates in Piedmont and an instrumental producer in developing the reputation of Piemontese wines overseas in the 1950s. Based in Alba, the winery owns 70-hectares of prime vineyards throughout the rolling hills of Barolo and Barbaresco, and combine traditional winemaking with innovative technology to craft harmonious and ageworthy wines. Pio Cesare is now in the hands of the fifth generation with Federica Boffa and her cousin, Cesare Benvenuto, following the recent and sudden passing of the iconic Pio Boffa.
