Potel Aviron

This is a partnership between Nicolas Potel and Stephane Aviron. Their philosophy tends to harmonise the richness of Beaujolais terroirs with the barrel-ageing tradition to obtain concentration, elegance and depth for each wine according to the different types of terroirs. These stunning wines have showed many wine lovers that the wines of this appellation can be very exciting. Made from 100% Gamay the wines burst with fresh flavours of cherries and red fruits, and the lighter style makes them ideal to be served lightly chilled.

The wines is produced from old vines (`Vielles Vignes`), some of which are 100 years old. The wine has a bright, fresh red fruit character, excellent depth of fl... Read more

The Morgon Côte du Py is Stéphane Aviron’s most structured, earthy wine, that is drinkable now and can age wonderfully for as much as ten years. The grapes are sourced from the slopes of an 1150-foot inactive volcano that is regarded as one of the top terroirs in all of Beaujolais. Vines face due south on a well-pitched hill... Read more
