The Valentin Leflaive story has its roots in the history of the Leflaive family in Puligny-Montrachet, which has been guided for several centuries by a love for Chardonnay and Pinot Noir and the search for precision in the expression of Burgundy terroirs. Daring to take risks has become the hallmark of Olivier Leflaive. Since 2015, a new chapter has been written in Oger, at the heart of the great terroirs of the Côte des Blancs in Champagne. Olivier chose the first name of his son Valentin, born in 2007, for this new, fresh and slightly offbeat project and in 2020 was approved as a Négociant-Manipulant and moved to Oger. They craft some of the most exciting Champagnes in the region.
