Corton-Charlemagne
Corton-Charlemagne
Corton-Charlemagne is a Grand Cru appellation for white wine made exclusively with the Chardonnay grape in the Côte de Beaune subregion of Burgundy, located on the famous Montagne de Corton Hill. Some of the top terroir-driven Chardonnay wines in the world are produced here and are opulent, complex and age worthy. Wines are often oak-aged where a slow maturation produces rich flavours of hazelnut and vanilla alongside notes of apple, stone fruits and acacia blossom.
