Cava
Known for its signature apple crispness and bold flavour, Cava is produced using a traditional method, the same method used to produce Champagne in France. Mostly made in the region of Catalonia, Cava was originally known as 'Spanish Champagne' until 1970 when winemakers adopted the term 'Cava' meaning 'cave' or cellar' in Spanish. Of light to medium bodied, typically dry and with very fine bubbles Cava is an easy drinking, popular sparkling wine with a reasonable price tag.
